Jolly decent of you SPK but I only twigged after JonW's hint. The early rum & rough clues had me thinking dodgy cocktails and such like. Would JW care to assume the position?

As a courtesy to Zag, this was his question after all, they were all Grand National winners. Good question!

Only won once - Seagram in '91. Had worked part-time at Oddbins once upon a time and they were then owned by Seagram. We had a joint bet and did blo*dy lovely from it. The manager opened a bottle of Krug - but muggins here was tee-total then!

Well you all evaded the answer for the longest time ever, Navcorr stuck his head above the parapet and correctly answered Grand National so the baton passes to him
