Was it invented or discovered?
Any way I digress

Restistance is futile..Before Volta, there were only Amps (invented by André Au Pair) and Watts (invented by James Who), and although that meant that they currently had power; without Volts it was all a bit lacking in potential.
Oh dear, Catman won't like it - another question with multiple answers
So how's this multi answer question of the 'day' working out, do we think?

Should we rename, Questions of an undefinable time frame?
Two Frenchie words beginning with V, verde for green, or similar, sticking with that, venison or veal, for deers, are they French words? I always remember being taught in modern languages the animal is rough sounding Anglo-Saxon, cow, pig, sheep, but the meat is always from the French, beef, gammon, mutton, so venison must be the French for deer meat. Not sure about veal, that’s a calf isn’t it? I’m going for green stuff, ie general greenery, and deer veal or venison or anything else beginning with V.

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for asking quite so many questions in one go this time round. And, on behalf of the people trying to think of an answers, I would like to apologise for their taking more than a day (over-running by as much as 5½ hours!) to answer the many questions that I set. Let's hope that Wanderer just asks ONE question, and that CatmanV2 knows the answer right away!
We need a QOD moderator. Oh wait that was my job
Crazy idea that it was a cross channel fuel pipe, post D-day? Makes no sense if being RAF though, so almost certainly wrong
