Witnessed by the Duke of Wellington, according to a programme I watched the other day...thus putting him off railways for life. At least he got a seat. Most people believe that William Huskisson MP was the first to be run over by a train in 1830. He was killed by being run over by the Rocket at Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire during the opening ceremony of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway but there was an earlier death
They were out for 32 I believe
Not that high
