Very sad news, only 24 years old and a very talented rider.
He died doing what he loved, and will be sadly missed,
my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
R.I.P. Marco.

He was the next Rossi, such a talented and fun guy. Really sad for his family and friends.

I always watch the clips in morbid fascination, that is a truly horrible accident - to see his helmet come off like that, you know there's no chance. RIP, truly tragic :(

Ciao Marco.

Very sad news a maverick, genius & champion of the future. Thoughts are with Simo's family as well as Colin Edwards & Valnetino Rossi who will be devastated..........................

I saw the race live, expected him to get up or start moving around, could not believe he was killed but it was a shocking incident.

Ug, that was horrible to watch, his lifeless body sliding down the track.

RIP Marco, at least it looks like you knew nothing about it.

Shocking and very sad. His family can be proud of the rider that he was, and the grace and humour with which he conducted himself. RIP.
