Exactly that Pat it's a starwheel ratchet adjuster just like on the Coupe cars. What I have found when adjusting is to ratchet it up a few clicks so you have some drag on the wheel/hub when rotated. The other option is to nip it all the way up and back it of a click or two.
There is a barrel adjuster on the cable; near side roughly just behind the B pillar. adjust the hubs as discussed, frequently & aggressively 'pump' the handbrake lever to balance the cable then adjust the barrel to lower the excited lever!
It is right when no contact fully down, some contact on first click, unable to turn one or both wheels on second click and operational on the third. It won't last long but good enough for an MOT
Yep, they will and an go in either way but I usually put them back so the daisywheel is forward of 6 o'clock on the hub so one ends up up the other down to expand.
