He's a man who left some large footprints. wherever he went. Including in places he had no right to be.

Sadly, I can't make the funeral due to a work trip, but I shall be there in spirit and will raise a glass or two to one of the greatest of stubborn, cantankerous, hilarious and generous old goats.

I will also raise a drink, maybe not quadruple grappa's this time though! Maserati mot booked in for 14th November, but if it had been sooner it would have been a fitting first trip after a few years in storage.

We have all seen stuff stream out of Rob; none of it dignified, so probably not...

I only met him once but his infectious smile left a lasting memory, I can understand how others who knew you better must feel.

Many things about Rob were live streamed but this, sadly, may not be.

I look forward to celebrating Rob's lust for life vigorously and repeatedly in the years to come.

Guys, very sorry to hear of Robs passing.

He was a great guy, very welcoming and enjoyed life to its fullest. Wish I'd spent a bit more time in his company but the times I did were both memorable and enjoyable.

He's one of those people you were automatically pulled towards when in a group and reluctant to part from when things were being wound up!

Very fond memories of the Monte Carlo or bust event, a great experience!

His is a loss to all Maserati enthusiasts and indeed to this hallowed forum.

May he rest in eternal peace.

The people that were there at the crem will already know but for those who couldnt attend this is the final song that Robs daughter chose as his final farewell.

Rather fitting I feel and raised a few knowing smiles as it was played.

Thanks for posting that Zep, I think with the exception of a link to the feed, we can close this thread out with a simple link to the Ridgeback Rescue. Rob was passionate about his ridgeback hounds and requested that instead of flowers at the funeral, people could make a donation to the rescue centre his last hound came from and also sadly had to go back to in Rob’s final days.
