Removing GS roof headlining

Anyone tried to remove and refit the leather headlining on a GS?

My new GS has a small dent on the roof just above the driver's window. I've spoken to a couple of guys who do paintless dent removal but both need to get behind the dent to work it out, hence removing the interior headlining. I'm a bit concerned at it going back in to place ok, or any plastic clips etc that might be easily broken if forced or incorrectly removed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The clips will likely break as they will be brittle with age. The headlining can be removed but the A/B and C trims on the pillars will need to be removed. Search for dash top removal and the one for the removal of the rear shelf.

The clips can be purchased from Eurospares in advance...better to be prepared

You won't need to remove the headlining, just pull off the curtain trim and the dent man will be able to get in there.
