Same air box

Hi all.

Just wanted to double check something.

Am I correct in saying the air filter assembly is the same for 4.2 and 4.7?

4.2 is part number 211974
4.7 is part number 232607.

211974 on eurospres is £380 plus vat
232607 is £143.34 plus vat.

Now I can't see any difference between the two.
Am I missing something here?

No, very early Qp’s ran a smaller air box.

So apart from that they are the same.

Bit of a difference in price on the boxes between 4.2 and 4.7 ( Granturismo ) for exactly the same item.

Just goes to show. Always cross reference parts for a better price

I Couldn't find the 4.7 ref on Eurospares but it says that
232607 is £143.34 plus vat. and fits

Let's hope the factory has it in stock!

I was told there is two styles, also with a different MAF sensor/mount. Looking at eurospares this seems correct, since MAF sensor is also different from later builds. I have a september 08 granturismo and believe i have the earlier filter + MAF edition.

Connection to the MAF is different as wel, see attached.

Crazy how the Granturismo 4.2 2008 is £380 plus vat yet the 4.7 us £143 plus vat.
Big difference for fundamentally the same thing.
