Sat Nav In Europe

Now our mobile data is no longer free to use in Europe what are people doing for sat nav use on the continent?

My Sky Mobile is not bad - it costs an extra £2 per day abroad to use your data…



I just use Apple Maps which is fine and have Co-Pilot as a backup…

Just got back from Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France (all in all one day) and all were in Vodafone's roaming coverage.

Future roaming charges is a result of Brexit, but we're a free cuntry!!!

Anyway just had a google and it looks like EU roaming is free on my contract, happy days.

Vodafone is free at the moment. Depending on your contract of course.

Just checked EE and roaming in Europe is £2 per day.

It was never free…it was included in the tariff….I find it is cheaper to rebroke my contract every 18months and just pay the £2per day…

Interesting - just back from Lille and wife got text to say roam just like you do in U.K. - no mention of a charge ….

i get 20gb with o2 for £20 a month free roaming in Europe at the moment

I have a UK number through Tesco and still it’s the same as being in the UK. Shame my Swedish number started charges the day after the UK left the EU…
