Update:
Replaced the bearing in the alternator and its a much quieter idle now
The window module on the donor seemed to have taken a swim in water and was beyond savable not to mention it was blue with a Maserati part number while mines was black with a Ferrari part number. Dropped off the car at a shop that specializes in ECU rebuilds, capacitors replacement etc.
Seems she is in good company
2 days later and $190 later, I have working windows!
I also took the cracked windshield off and out of curiosity went to the local Jag/Ford/Masi/Ferrari dealer and asked for a quote
"Its out of stock since 2018 and the last one we sold was fourteen thous....." I ran away soo fast out
$3,804 for those wondering how much that would be
The windshield guy is producing a replacement one as we speak and I cleaned out the surface rust and painted the windshield area for a rust free future
In other news, the 3D printing is off to a great start
V1 hood vents, wasn't happy with the fitment so sent it back along with the donor hood to save time
A-Pillar vents are now available, manufactured using the latest in additive manufacturing/3D printing technology. Parts are printed in SLS machines using PA12 material. All our parts are printed using industrial grade materials using state of the art printers.
Sold as a set of left and right, $100 plus shipping to your location
