Is there a way to check which version of the map is currently on a car?

Hmmmmm That sounds very technical to me... do give Darrell Scarth a ring on 01793 615000 and I am sure he can answer this for you. It just seemed very topical with Spring around the corner and getting ready for tours to give you all the heads up (we don't sell these or take a commission, just keep you all posted, of what's out there... let us all know how you get on

Thanks Andrea. Spoke with Darrell who was very helpful. I had not appreciated that the Bose system option (which I have) runs a different Nav package, and the offer only covers the non-Bose (Marelli) system. There is no update as yet for the Bose, but when it comes out Darrell says they will run the same offer. So i didn't pursue the question of how you know which version you are running....but did have a very useful chat with him about some other aspects of the Bose system which I'm grappling with, and following up with his technical expert (as usual, the ICE stuff these days is much more technical than the whole physical engineering!). Thanks for the link.
