Service light come on but does not need service - Graypaul won't remove!

My battery got low over the winter on my Granturismo S and a few little electrical gremlins appeared. I charged the battery and everything cleared except the car now says it need servicing. The car was serviced last May / June at Graypaul Notts and has covered less than 2000 miles since.

I rang Graypaul in January and spoke to a guy in service who said no problem, bring it down and we'll remove the light. As it's an 1hr drive for me I never got round to it until this week. I've just spoken to service again and now they're saying it's company policy not to remove the service light unless I have another service carried out.

Seems unfair to me as the car doesn't need it,
I'm waiting on a manager to call me back. Anyone else had an issue like this before? The car has done 22k miles and is a 60 plate.

I'm new to Maserati but that's rubbish. You use them, you have a small issue that would take then minutes to sort. Poor customer relations for me. Sometimes you need to stop chasing the buck and provide good service

Insisting on another service is ridiculous

Push them, threaten to take your business elsewhere and they will concede and do it FOC for you.

Is there not a secret way of doing it? Every other, modern, car I have owned you could.
