Shine armour

Hi all.

Anyone used Shine armour engine performance enhancer.
Obviously it won't make any difference to the performance but it makes engines quieter and sound smoother.
Just wondered if anyone had used it.

This is snake oil for oil in my view. Can’t think of a reason it would make a difference, other than psychologically.

Shell, Castrol, AGIP, etc spend millions in developing synthetic oil to withstand extreme pressures, temperature ranges from sub zero starting to high temperatures. I'm pretty sure you don't need anything else in there.
Likewise for petrol, supermarket, Esso or shell all keep the combustion chamber and injectors as clean as possible. So why spend more?

Just interested to see if anyone had tried it or something similar

If you have a noise or issue concerning you the way to go is:
Diagnose and Repair especially on a exotic otherwise could become very expensive especially if it was a timing chain guide breaking up.
