Ok - along with my Stradale I love a classic and currently have a rather lovely Sunbeam Tiger and an attention seeking Trabant !

So why am I tempted by this ………
Never owned a Cortina, never thought I would want one (well perhaps a MK111 Savage) then this pops up on eBay …….

It is garage or at least has lifts, but they have not checked it over or set up the carb. Did this fall off it?

Compared with an original Uren car it's cheap, but I don't think I'd go after it.

Whilst deliberating, I had someone pop in and have a look, they are no mechanic, but had it up on the ramp and live-streamed video.

It is a sound car, but does need some work on the floor plan, so it’s not for me.

If it had not had visible signs of work required, I think I would have bought it and enjoyed it for a year or so.

I really should keep off eBay
