Skyhook - can it be removed from sports mode?

Hi all, as per the title of the thread, I have skyhook and it would be lovely to be able to put the car into sport for the noise but not the suspension. Often sport is nice through town but that's where the roads need softer suspension. Not sure if this has been done or not? Thanks! Matt

I am sure there are a few threads on here and the answer is remote valves …….. someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly.

I asked a few years back and was informed by a number of specialist that it can't.

Seem to remember going round this loop with my first GT without success. Easier to get a separate control to enable the exhaust rather than disabling the suspension part of sport mode

In saying that I think there would be a big queue if it was possible.

Sport mode increases redline too. Likely different traction control parameters too. Could it also be alternate throttle map?
Only the suspension element that I would like to defeat.

I would settle for exhaust valve operation, as the switch between sport for skyhook is a switch between different suspension ‘maps’.

This alters the PWM signals to the solenoids in the dampers, which changes with inputs from the accelerometers. There would be a signal on the canbus to the ECU, so short of finding that and spoofing it to the ECU it doesn’t seem possible. If you turn of skyhook or remove the ECU it will probably revert to rock hard all the time.

Or just go for the fixed rate Sportline suspension.
