I wonder how many times they got round the track before the whole suspension and drive train fell apart? And clearly unaware that the preceding version of the car was a twin turbo and Maserati were famous for turbos. looks like a lot of power there!!

Quite so - They seem oblivious to Maserati history, even the most recent !
And he says 415HP...so not wildly different to the original- plus it cooked itself on 10 pounds of boost...! Impressive...:cool:
You cant take the ‘Bogan’out of ‘outback’ huh !!

what engine is in that? Its a 3200 body but thats not a 3200 engine, or a 4200 engine by the look of it?

I see, should have known that probably. Now I am thinking, why! i mean the engine in the 3200 is not that bad really. they seem happy i guess thats all that matters, maybe it wasnt holden enough for them.

Costs. I'm guessing he picked it up at an auction for $10k-$15k and an LS is ~$2k with an infinite number of bolt on parts. Sure you can pick up a Gransport engine for not much more, but you have zero support in engine swapping, wiring, modifications and other parts.
