Audiophile...not so much, but being lockdown, I've just played about a bit.
CINEMA
Denon AVRx2300
KEF 2005 Eggs Front/Surrounds
KEF 3005 Centre
Custom - 12" Dayton Audio Titanic MK3 with BK 500W amp
During lockdown I relocated all the speakers and the TV for a more proper surround experience. The difference is night and day. I convinced my wife, she was onboard, the speakers are more intrusive in the room, and not as neat, but flipping heck it sounds great. Having KEF speakers all round, the sound matching is wonderful - it is very immersive especially for a fairly simple system.
Sub weighs +60KG! It is just insane. It was a new lockdown purchase. The low notes it can hit are incredible, it adds so much to the experience.
Hi-Fi
I actually had nowhere in the house to put this, but since I have taken a spare bedroom as my office in lockdown, I have now set up my old hifi here
This was my old hifi that i put together over a number of years from the age of 16! It has not been switched on since 2004!!!
Kenwood 3030r amp
Marantz CD6000 OSE (18th birthday present from friends!)
Denon TU260 LII radio
Sony JE-330 minidisc (I have no minisdiscs!)
Google Chromecast-Audio for streaming (recently added! discontinued but well reviewed)
Jamo Cornet 145 (but the bass drivers blew at a house party in 2002, so were replaced with something fairly high-end by a mate who worked in professional cinema audio)
I would like to upgrade the speakers and the amp to things I wanted back in the early noughties
Things loved back then....

@CatmanV2 and others - what upgrades would you do to the Hi-Fi?
