I got one set today, the second one decided to make a tour around Europe. According to the tracking it has left the UK towards Germany, then Denmark and back to two different places in Germany. Given that they are supposed to come to Portugal, they will have covered quite a lot of kms by then. Should that mean that they are already run in an ready to be given the beans? Ahahah

I've just spoken with brakeparts.co.uk and they're willing to offer a discount on these pads to our members. Anyone wishing to buy the pads should call 01706 666999 and speak to Steve or Sarah. You will then be able to buy front and rear pads for £56.57 including delivery (Scotland may be more and international will certainly be more).

I'm currently using these on my yellow GS and really rate them. A new set is going on with new discs for both cars.

Sorted... Just ordered from stock great price :)

I've fitted Mintex pads to the new discs on both cars. Initial impressions are very good, the real test will be next week.

Your welcome Neil, loved the MG & the sound of your Tubis it the first time I've heard them properly. Next time I will bring the 3200 & you can hear my Larinis.

Anyone recall the name of courier company Mark used to drive our disks?
I have a small job, so might as well give it to a friend of the Forum.

It was a deal made available by a friend of Mark's, using his commercial distributors. He runs a wholesale distribution company, not the courier company.

I tend to use Interparcel.com for the international stuff - that's how all the disks have been sent to our European friends :)

Thanks Drew
Will look them up and get my stuff collected. Always prefer to use a referral, and put my business toward nice people. We all got such a great deal from the group buy and delivery,, so was not looking for another one!

I have had a good track record with MyHermes as you can drop at a local point (maybe your local pub even) or get collected and likewise delivery, they are cheap but I think there is a 25kg maximum. I know they have had mixed press but I have never had any problems.
