Guys, I am away this Sunday for a week in Sharm El Seikh with the family, then back for 3 days then off to Le Mans.

So, I am going to put field marshal Parisien in charge this time. He is made of sterner stuff than me so be careful what you say as you might get your knuckles wrapped!

After last years debacle with the power going to Adolf Urbans head Ill be keeping an eye on you guys.

Watch where you swim mate, they don't call it Sharm-el-shark for nothing. Apparently holidays there can cost an arm and a leg!

Yep, dont go in the sea anyway, well, maybe a paddle.

I have heard 2 reports, 1 that if you step in the sea, you are escorted out again, and another from Trev's dad who has just come back saying rubbish, everyone is in the sea without issue.

Ill play is safe, we are all inclusive, so in the immortal words of Mick Garby from ITV's Benidorm, why go outside and pay when in here its all FREE!!!!

Just got back last week myself from Sharm and must say its a great place - the locals love the Brits, they hate the Russians who are all rude, P's and Q's a tenner tip and you dont lift a finger. if you never been before you will love it, the fish in the sea are amazing, not much paddling though the jetty from our 'beach' was in 50 feet of water! you cant see the bottom!

I must admit though the locals idea of printing a shark on a T shirt eating a diver did strike me as odd!

I did everything that your advised not to and enjoyed every minute
Take Sterling - change in hotel get a better rate (9.8 to £ - no commision)
Quad biking in the desert brilliant fun - 5 second 'elf and safety brief to my 17 year old daughter who cant drive, "this makes it go - that makes it stop" at which point she disappeared in a cloud of dust into the distance!
