What I don't like both these restored WW2 planes is that they are over-clean - for me be better if I bit beaten up and matt paint not gloss!

Loving this thread, I do like taking the odd photo but in no way do I take it seriously, there's some serious talent here .,..

Going to "bend" the one shot rule here since it is a sequence collection of a dragonfly landing so each shot not so standout on its own but together printed off in sequence I quite like them. Took me ages to get set up at a preferred landing spot then even with 15 shots a sec getting the sequence all in focus took about 30 attempts! Lol

How did you find a trained dragonfly who was willing to do it again and again and again?

Lol.. They are all from the same landing, high speed glass and 15 shots per sec, sequence actually 8 shots but using 3,4 or 5 in prints works best by my eye

Very impressive shots and the effort and diligence taken to capture them is equally impressive...

Like the framing of the lilac breasted roller, good use of third rule, nice shot.

Thanks. It is often the crop that make the picture jump out at you.

My son and I took about 2,000 photos in three weeks in Namibia. In the end we printed and framed 16.

Lots of careful cropping, and I did 'airbrush' the extra branch out of this one before printing:
