Can't look at a puffin, without salivating at the thought of a well chilled pint of draught. Bloody advertisers! If you haven't been to Skomer Island before I would highly recommend a trip. We were really lucky with the weather in May 2018, glorious sunshine and the island was blanketed in wildflowers. The puffins are great to watch, got some lovely pictures of them and the short eared owl, but think this is my favourite. The canon 400mm 2.8 is normally my motorsport lens, but creates lovely Bokeh for wildflife shots as well.View attachment 72784
This has no technical merit whatsoever. I was waiting for a bus, while standing outside the Irish Central Bank, a stone's throw from Trinity College, Dublin, just visible at the end of the street. This guy appeared with his donkey. Took it onto the bus. Bus drove off, towards North Dublin. Taken in 2012 ish with a Nokia Lumia 930 mobile. At that time, a good phone, just released. However, my point is the same as others who've captured much better images
as shown on this thread, with very modest cameras. Even with very basic equipment, being in the right time and place, can be almost all that matters. As I said, this image has no technical merit whatsoever. But, it will forever be one of my favourites, for sh1ts and giggles.

Yes! Absolutely. He even put the ramp down, so the donkey wouldn't trip or stub a hoofDid the driver allow him on?
