QP should be raring to go for next week. Haven't driven her recently due to the weather but have managed about a thousand miles or so since servicing her myself in June.

Got to say I am best pleased with my efforts. I have several Beemas and been servicing them myself for many years but this was the first time I did the QP. Prior to that it had all main dealer history. I did the aux belt, oil, oil filter, air filter, coolant and PAS fluid. Need to flush the brake fluid and change the gear/diff oil at some point soon.

I am planning to tackle rocker cover gaskets (and swap the sparks while i am at it) too. Much bigger job but I am confident I can manage it. Anyone seen any write-ups on this anywhere? I have the official QP workshop manual to follow of course but always handy seeing other owners experiences of this task.

Matt, we definitley won't make the karting now mate so if anyone wants to take that spot, they are welcome to it. I am hoping the QP will at least join the convoy out west from Edmonton but we'll have to see how we go. We should defo see you in that pub after the karting though and for the short run from there down to the crown plaza.

Hi guys, I have a small issue with my new 'Dorris' who has expressed an interest in the weekends activities. As it stands I only have one place for dinner & a single room. Was wondering if anyone on here had had their plus 1 pull out who would be willing to swap rooms & dinner arrangements. Obviously I would settle the difference.

Jeanette has concluded she is not up to partying yet (fair enough) so I am able to offer her place at the dinner to the first taker at cost?

Additionally if anyone does want to upgrade from a single to a double that is an option I'm happy to discuss and likewise I'd consider swapping my room to a twin if anyone is equipped with a set of Peltors:
