Hi all , hopefully to buy a 4200 in the next month or two , just awaiting a house sale to go though. Currently drive BMW z4 and been a avid member of the z4 forum but have always wanted a V8 , didn't really want another BMW as my last two cars have been them . Just by chance a customer of ours drives a 4200 and we got talking about cars and said what about a Maserati , I thought there would be out of my price range but was amazed at how reasonable priced these cars are now . He also put forward this forum as a good place for tips and advise . So hopefully to be a new owner soon .

Nice to have another soon to be owner on the forum....lots of info on here.....ask as many questions as you want.

Main bit of advice.....do get a Maserati indie inspection done of any car you're about to buy

Welcome maverick, Parisien speaks a lot of sense, read up on the info on here (there's a buying guide on here somewhere). And if you have a doubt about the car..walk away, another one will come along but get that indie inspection!

Welcome to the forum Maverick. Hope you find a car with your name on it. If you have any questions, just ask. Most 4200 foibles are well known by now, so there'll be plenty of advice on hand if you need it.

A big welcome to the forum Maverick...........I do like the Z4....Even tthe older ones still look modern....and a great drive as well.......Drove a few 3l ones and they have that old school noise up punt when putting your foot down...

Hope you find a 4200 for you...
