The new cars on the drive , washed and waxed just before it got dark . First impressions oh yes , auto mode pants , flappy paddles are the way forward . Not had a real chance to open her up yep as the petrol light came on half way down the motor way so very steady driving , **** . Question how many miles do you have once the light comes on while doing very steady driving ?

IIRC, the light comes on at 16 litres. So. At 15-20 mpg while driving steadily, you've got in the region of 55-75 miles. I usually try and fill within the first 40 or so. Don't quote me though!

If you have the centre screen you should have a trip button, that will give you the range you have left and count down.

Somewhat optimistic, I reckon. But probably not as bad as the Alfa GT's was

The range seems to be based on the average mpg of your whole trip, so if you move from motorway to town or spirited a-road driving, it won't be very accurate

But not if you run out after 3 miles.........happened me once.........reading 30 odd, 5 miles later....ooopppssss...and I was just 2 miles from a filling station
