Spacers and lowering car

Hi

Has anyone with spacers on their 4200 lowered the car please?

Any advice?

Yes I have 15 mm spacers all around and lowered it quite low , lower than the grand sport . I also just had the full geo down and it drives fine . I would recommend if you go down that route to go to a specialist as these cars are very sensitive to changes . I took mine to wheels in motion in Chesham .

can't lower as apparently adjusters on the actual coil overs are solid... They want £500 to strip.
Seems a lot to lower the car

There have to to compress the spring fully and take any tension off than the lock nuts should move ok

To be honest if the British weather has got into them and they need to come off the car to strip there is a fair bit of work involved to get them off the car.
Give them a good soaking with a rust penertrant.
