Speedo / Instrument Cluster Removal

I followed this but still stuck, anyone have any tips if they have removed? Its the last part for me to get out. Thanks all

I had instructions for this - they're on here somewhere will have to dig tho - will look later. Was for a QP tho.

Convinced I have bulbs out so when you get yours out - show me your bulbs! Ooo-err Missus!

My speedo has both mph and kph, ever seen another one the same but my car was supplied to Ireland where they have kms but not in 2006 I think....

Sorted, the right side top leather flap that pops out, on the left its attached to the bose mic so needs a tug to pop out before you can get the cluster out

I had an infernal squeak coming from behind the binnacle and decided to take the cluster out to investigate.

It was actually quite easy, but christ, literally every screw holding together this car is made of the crappiest cheapest metal so ended up rounding off a few and spent about 35 mins trying to get the first two screws out.

At least it stopped squeaking once I had put everything back together nice and tight but speedometer sometimes doesn't sit at 0 once I had reconnected everything though. Wish I hadn't bothered now...

Did you find them? The instrument cluster on my 2005 QP is loose. I want to tighten it.
