I am going black tie and so it Loz and Trev.

What I suggest is that you bring both DJ and smart casual with you on the day and decide then. Better to have it than to not.

I dont know what sort of Italian we are going to, nor how the tables are being arranged. I did assume that we would be all on one table but with the size of the thing now, that might not be possible.

Budgie, can you give us your insight as to what type of restaurant it is?

I've been stuck in Ireland for the last two weeks, not seen my baby daughter, Mrs, dogs or cars and yet I'll be getting back for this weekend by hook or by crook, putting the dogs in B&B for the weekend, delivering baby to grand parents and bloody well going to the inaugural Sports Maserati Christmas meet! And then I'll be back in Ireland until the 22nd and jumping on a plane to Egypt on the 23rd!
So my friend, the excuse of "having to get a few bits" for your hols is just not going to wash!
Get yourself down to the train station and get picked up in sports car and have a bloody good time.
Come on...... you know you want to.

VD is a bit posh but very relaxed Hic !!!!! they bring out fireworks and sing happy birthday all time, we have seveal a year just for the attention Black Tie OTT in my opion would suggest all or none to aviod looking like a nob but people do make an effort to go there

Right going back through the thread looks like some are up for lunch but if so I need some numbers,

how many are actually staying in the hotel ? I will orgainse cabs (my local guys) so we do not get ripped off, so how many people? what time ?
