What is the general concensus over a supplier? Euro Spares? Or main dealer?

You can get from both.
The steering rack is TRW so you would think they could be matched.

I went for generic at £11 the pair...its a gaitor i.e a cover to stop the muck getting in so IMHO no point spending more £ than necessary.....I put the change in the tank and more smiles on my face!

it was all helpful but you didn't suggest the part number for the fellow. Did you have the part number you used so he can purchase the same one so that it fits?

I'm all good with generic, if they fit and do the job. If you could let me know the supplier?

My invoice just states "Steering rack gator kit" £5.99 + Vat. I had them changed when I had the wheel alignment and camber done. I have phoned the garage that did the work and they are looking back through their records to find out who they purhased the gaitors from. Given the very low price I suspect Mills autoparts .....dont know if you have them where you are but they are a large parts supplier to the trade here in SW England. I will let you know where they came from and as many details as I can as soon as the garage tells me.
