Stradale Carbon Ceramic Brake Pads

Hi All,
So at some point in the near future, I expect to replace my brake pads on the Stradale.
Given they are very pricy, is there any aftermarket options or alternatives?
They cant be just on the Strad, other cars must use them - maybe some of the yank cars?
I do know a lot of the Porsche guys run alternative pads on their Carbon Ceramics so there does seem to be aftermarket stuff out there

I looked in to this as I know I have to change my pads soon, I took pictures of all the brembo part numbers I could find, but all this lead to was some compatibility with Ferrari (430 o 458, can't remember) parts, which cost 2x the OEM Strad bits from Europarts.

In other words, I wasted my time, and will probably just pay europarts prices. Please chime in if any one knows better.

I spoke with AS Motorsport and they believe the rears are the same as the 599 gto/612 Scag. Not sure on the fronts yet.

599 gtb. Part 70001120 £500 +vat from Maranello.

They are the same as the Ferraris but the later Ferrari models have larger ones

With them being such low production numbers, I doubt you could source them cheaper elsewhere as there wouldn't be the margin in it for anyone else to make them. I agree that they are super expensive but that's what you get with an exclusive, special car. A full set of spark plugs for a modern V12 Ferrari will set you back around £700, so we're not alone
On the plus side, the pads last a long time so you won't be changing them often and the performance of these brakes are one of the best things about the Stradale for me

I have to disagree on costs - a car is a car, unless it has something unique from a technology perspective. We are paying "brand tax"! I dont think there is much on our cars that is specially made that is a serviceable component. For me, thats the issue, I think those pads could be on another car and perhaps not so expensive - but unless we find out, we will not know!
I am more than happy to pay the money to keep my car perfect, and I do, but if we can get the exact same part cheaper, then why not.

I do agree on the Strad being awesome. I think its terrific value for money overall, and just look at it! What a car!
