I've just started watching 'Inspector Montalbano' again, the dvd boxset that my Mrs bought me a while back - within two or three episodes the die is cast with a series which relaxes you beyond belief but still manages to draw you in, the Scicilian locations are wonderful (the women likewise) even the grubby parts look interesting. I've seen them all a few times already but for me it is still by far so much more enjoyable than 90% of the tosh we see on our screens. Each episode is more like a stand alone film than part of a series, the pacing, direction and casting is spot on, even the sometimes annoying Caterella has his good moments. The best way to sum it up is by calling it a 'televised sigh of melancholic calming joy'. Proper telly, only with subtitles... my Mrs won't watch it because of the subtitles though!

I rather enjoyed blue lights.
Just started watching it on the iPlayer, enjoying it so far
Also watching the Raul Moat thing on Itv but the adverts are doing my nut in, what a psycho he was, I was waiting for gazza with the coke & chicken in the final episode but they've left him out of it

I'm enjoying 'American Auto': a quick-fire workplace comedy set in a car company. A bit like Parks & Rec or Community in style, or the much-lamented Better Off Ted. On Sky Comedy.

Did Raul Moat also and enjoyed that too. I remember when it happened and the idiots making him out to be some kind of hero. Fecking low lifes. He was a maniac.

Do you like handy little tips to make life easier?

Do you like to remind yourself of how bizarre the humour of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer 8s?

Wouldn't it be good if a streaming service would rerun a suitable program?

Well look no further, Viz Top Tips is on Amazon Prime...

Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans

I've got a limitless pass , just got back from the latest fast and furious movie , I haven't seen any of the others that I can recall but my god, what a steaming turd of a movie , it really felt like the producers had tried to make it as bad as possible to see if people would still go to see it

It does have everything though , explosions , more explosions , even more explosions , wait more explosions

There's even a batmobile of sorts

I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it , and hopefully never will again

If it's ever on TV you should watch it because you really won't believe how spectacularly awful it is

Just watched: STIlL the MJ Fox documentary on Apple TV. A most enlightening and also tear jerking watch. Highly recommended.
