In the mid 80's as a teen went with my Dad to a black tie boxing evening.
Was sat front row and these two kids came on, one gave a heavy blow to the head of the other, the result was a stream of blood projected towards myself and I was splattered down my crisp white shirt. I've never watched a boxing match again, and you can imagine what my thoughts are on boxing.

We’ve had a few false starts since watching the awesome Queen’s Gambit on Netflix, but we’ve settled in to Hunters (on Amazon) with Mr Pacino, some great camera work, plenty of twisty turny stuff and loads of seventies yank tanks. The concentration camp scenes tend to etch into your brain though.

Evo COTY 2020 part 1 on ITV4 last night. 16 cars tested at Angelsey circuit. No silly stunts just pure 3 days testing.
Part 2 tonight in Scotland now whittled down to 8 cars. Think the F8 is predictably going to win but I prefer the Cayman as overall VFM package.

Dear Lord I watched this.....Well as much as I could....There is a reason why this lot write for EVO and aren't on TV.....Dull as ditch water.....Nice cars but that's about it..........I so hope that as car nuts we don't sound like they do......

Don’t disagree. However, on other threads on here, there are lots of moans and groans about how silly shows like Top Gear and The Grand Tour have become, with no focus on genuine car tests.
This was the polar opposite and you take your choice. As they say, you can’t please all the people all the time ...........

Yes get that my friend.....Have some charisma and enthusiasm when you present though would have helped.......I have told me wife if I ever talk cars again to her she can tell me to shut up if I sound like that lot.
...Pistonheads did something similar at the beginning of the years and think that was ITV 4 as wel....Truly dire....Think it was called PIstonheads TV.....Shows this presenting lark is not as easy as people think.
