Putting this into context;
- The most popular TESLA is the model 3, which on the chargers at Tebay take c20 mins to charge from 20% - 80% giving another c200 mils range.
- At Tebay South there are 8 TESLA Rapid chargers giving c150/120kwh - so it can turn round 24 cars per hour.
- Tebay, along with its sister site at Gloucestershire are voted the best services year on year, have a number of restaurants, Deli, Bakery, and Butchers are are busy through the year (Or holiday cottage is not far from there). With our Dog walk as well as our pit stop we are normally there around an hour before heading to Boots at Penrith to stock up before getting to or leaving the cottage.
- Given there was 17 cars in the queue, they would have a potential wait of around 40-60 mins to be fully charged and on the way.
However to balance this out, I checked on the Zap Chat and 2 people quoted wait times of between 20 mins and +2 hours on Tuesday, but also with 25 cars waiting, others over the Christmas period reported short waits but on the road again within 20 mins.
Personally I don't think that is too bad given the site serves both the North and South bound traffic (There is a access road for NB traffic)
