Morning, all. A quiet day lies ahead. Still on Lake Como - planning to take the ferry to Como and the funicular railway up to Brunate for lunch. Have been admiring the pace of life here, not least of all when the people in the villa next door took their Riva out and came back 15 minutes later with some groceries. Makes going shopping almost attractive!

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning all. Went for mexican last night, later on i was sitting at the edge of a marina, admiring the full moon and the light wind with my woman. Sea and wind will be missed if plans to Germany come to reality.
Welcome back Andy. Adam how's in the neighbours?

Im taking my iPhone 6 to Apple tomorrow but I don't want to loose the pictures or messages as some are very important (legally binding divorce stuff and pictures of my little one etc) so what can i do?
Not very good at technology......

Another thing I would recommend especially if they very important things to don't want to lose is a remote backup.

I use Dropbox and link my phone to it. So whenever I take a photo it backs it up online to my Dropbox.

So if some scroat steals my phone I am in the safe knowledge I haven't lost a thing. In London it happens a lot. Some oik will cycle past on his bicycle and ****** your phone out of your hands.

Basically install Dropbox on your phone and it will do the rest. If you need more space you either refer people and get up to around 20gb or pay a little to get more storage. Yes it is money, but if you lose your phone it will be worth every penny.

Very wise. I also use Dropbox, you can add massive storage without actually paying for it as well.

I used Dropbox for work as well.

Went to Carfest and nearly won a few cars at auction! Saw one and registered interest and earlier today they called so I could phone bid! I only ended up winning it! I revisit the first car I ever owned, a mk1 golf Gti in Mars Red.

A good morning to one and all.

Isee the weather's not let us down for the UK bank holiday!...tipping down here in the SW. Ido hope it does not spoil your events or plans...but suspect a BBQ is out of the picture.

Have to say it been a poor summer...just hope its dry in St Europe later this week for the three weeks away in the Maser.
