The good morning thread

Just rebuilt the 8m wide carport in the farmyard (all done without machinery or help - have muscles pinging like piano strings at the moment!), so that's another three outdoor covered car parking places, freeing up space in the barn/indoor vehicle storage facility. Time to buy some more vehicles perhaps :)

Got bids out there for 3 more at mo so I hope they all don't say yes! That is the only problem in having lots of space after the move....I'm trying to fill it ;)

I've only got 3.

For the first time in my life I've felt inadequate!
Alex won't let me buy any more until we move to somewhere which can accomodate. Which is the sensible option.
But it's not the 'man' option.

So I'm doing the right thing, and looking at storage facilities near me! :jptongue:
Buy yourself some more nice cars and I'll store them & look after them for you ;)

I am only saying this because I have met you ....

Quality over quantity .... Surely.

Sounds good. Definitely buy some more. I know of a nice XJ and SL500 that would enjoy staying there ;)

Soon as you like ;). My next door neighbour has a nice space/area for about 50 cars until I get my stuff online as GP Cars have moved out from his place now.

To be honest it's the wrong time to buy another car, I go away next week, and then again a week after I get back and then again two weeks after that!

So probably did me a favour. Having said that. I have text the guy selling it to see if he's still got it! :D

Agreed in theory. Only issue is I don't have enough cash for both quality/quantity & I can't do just one car that does all. It would need to be a large sporty comfortable practical fast good sounding high spec car. Not sure that exists....and I get bored!

I live on a rural lane off a lane so a 4x4 is useful when needed. Also I often carry a fair bit of kit for some jobs for work. Need a sports car fix occasionally. Also some get bought to be sold at a later date.

Total value of all cars is about £90k but the missus needs one! It is my pension I'm trying to build up as well. Much more interesting than watching a savings account not do much ;)

Open to suggestions for improvement as always.

Have a great day, all

Morning all...Friday .... Hurray.....Alex has a school trip to Weston Super Mare and both boys have their school disco tonight an evening of walking back and forward to the school. Plus decided to take the team to the pub this afternoon so a one o'clock finish for us.
