Morning all. Half day today. The rest of it spent in IKEA and furniture shops at Lakeside as we're getting a new bed, sofa's bed for Joseph, stuff for his bedroom.....

Might leave the credit card at home..... Oops!

When we first got to France and needed some bits and pieces for the rental house we spent €1600 in IKEA in Rennes our bank stopped the card thinking it was fraud.

Good Friday morning all.........So it's storm Alex today .........Why the feck to do they have name every storm.....Its seems you only have to fart these days and it becomes a named storm. It's just some rain and wind .......

Good Moring everyone and Good Morning Grumpy Andy. I think it's a good idea to name storms, makes people aware of the incoming doom, rather than 'just another bout of wind and rain'.

Morning everyone!
Last night I cooked dinner for one using my first carolina reaper chilli harvested a couple of days ago. Oh, the food was sooooo tasty - you should try one. I'd offer to post some to you guys but I may get arrested for posting weapons.

Andy, I’m with you, mate. Storms don’t need names. Children yes, storms no. On which basis Martin’s notion, that by giving something a name you make people are of the imminent chaos, seems rather apt.

Today I shall mostly be just gettin’ sh!t done. ‘Let’s jurst git ‘er durn’, as my old mid-western CTO used to say. And likely still does.

I had several hundred grams of chillis arrive a couple of weeks ago. Not reapers but bloody good :)
So it might not be illegal ;)

Morning all.
Just think Mark is married to Storm Alex their lives look pretty good to me though.
Still smelling of old engine oil here so hopefully get a bit of grass cutting done to smell nicer.
