Good morning everyone, up for the weekly LT meeting and subsequent meeting regarding weekend events. Then back to bed as I'm working tonight and thinking of the overtime.

Andy, best of luck for a negative result for Master K.

Morning, all. HSBC finally managed to open my business bank account last week. I was notified by a talking pig which had flown across the frozen wastelands of h3ll to bring me the news. Incredulity aside, I can now finally crack on with important things such as invoicing, tax and NI rebates, paying myself and settling my expenses. Which is nice.

Have a good week, all.

Morning all. After a very busy weekend I've come back to the office for a rest.
Parents over on Saturday and then yesterday it was get a new shower head, fill the loft with stuff, prepare a wall for the plasterers coming in tomorrow, jet wash the decking (failed due to rain and my jet wash dying), and put tv's on various walls.

We have Affinity Water in this morning as we have low pressure. They've just told us we have a leak. Somewhere. Hopefully it can be rectified at their expense rather than ours!

On a positive note I ordered a new Jet Wash, from the Karcher Outlet store, £159 for a K5 instead of £289. Bargain!
Jet washing the decking will be easy now!
Although I'll have to go easy on the cars, as the last one could take the paint off! And that was only a K2!

Morning everyone!
Crud, that sounds infinitely more efficient than Nat West with getting a business bank account. Well, we managed to get one open, but we're not allowed to access it. Ever. Oh, and if we do, we're only allowed to make a maximum of £1k payment... yeah that works for salaries right?

Oh well! HapPea Monday!

Looking forward to the answer on this one. :p

He's right. Ride the tax codes, baby. OK, you can go higher than a grand but the principle is sound. Still, I await someone who knows what they're talking about who'll probably be along soon with details on dividend payments and all sorts of other clever tricks and cunning wheezes.

Stevie, Nat West sounds a bit grim. HSBC, now it's open, is good, and the app is a neat way of keeping tabs on things. Also, it's free for the first 18 months.

What I mean is, my father had his accounts managed for many years by.... Stevie’s father.

Morning all. Best wishes to all those feeling under the weather.

More job hunting today. Few calls with assorted mobs that seem to value my opinion. Keeps the wolf from the door.

Have a great day, all

Good Luck Chris.
Really don't think I will get any Manufacturers work this year so concentrating on my own local area for service and repairs.
Did my first cambelt job here last week in two years and really enjoyed it.
Got an offer on my UK house but 65K under the asking price :(
