Well good news this afternoon for me as well; looks like I’ve secured the pub inspections for outdoor play NATIONALLY! So my mileage is going up again and many more nights away I guess.
Oh, well done, Newton! Good work.

Now, promise you won't be doing all of them personally.

A pal of mine has the same problem, his is the only cottage in the road with original sash window and glass from the 1800’s , thin and wavey.
He has recently decided ed to replace them, but is going to the trouble of preserving them in tact and putting them in the loft so they will always be there should anyone want to reinstate them.

We were having similar thoughts. Kind of a compromise.

Morning chaps. iPhone screen failed so it’s been like my right arm has been severed....I have so much Ticktock to catch up on

Seriously though I proved what a vital part of everyday life depends on these devices.

Luckily it’s being repaired today,£125 fitted which I thought was astonishing value.

Still drowning in cars but still smiling.
Gotta keep that head above the water mate , I'm getting all resurgent again and looking forward to all things blue

Mate of mine just picked up a stunning and low mileage cabriolet today from Harrow postcode , test drove it yesterday and paid 75% of it yesterday ,went today with the remaining balance to pick it up, warmed it up ,went to drive it off the chaps drive way to find the steering stiff and the belt had broke and the idler pulley fecked as well as the pump , got a nice big chunk off the price to cater for the repair , but gutted to say the least ,it's now on a trailer back to his

Ms French didn't get the job :( but the good news is she is being hunted for others but may have to travel a bit further.
Still no crisis as these things happen for a reason.
Really sorry about that Phil, don’t worry things really do get better, and they will. Just a matter of time, and if you haven’t finished yet, just keep painting.

Good Morning and nearly into another weekend.
Coffee, breakfast and back to my painting.
Feeling quiet pleased as everything i have done here has been on my Jack Jones.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all, a few aches after yesterday but otherwise fine , no second head and no signs of external control from Microsoft

Easy day today mainly cleaning records as the new turntable is on route from Dublin so fingers crossed today or tomorrow

You wait until you can only see blue and then just stop until someone needs to kick you really hard up the Khyber Pass. 10 minutes later you'll be ok again.

Morning, all. Filthy wet day out there. Inside, just work. And coffee. Coffee and work.

Morning all. Busy day ahead, with calls booked for most of the day.

Wondering if I'm going to get any lunch today.....

Morning everyone!
Shame for Mrs. French, but here's to one of her other options being even better. If she has to travel a bit further, the boulangerie/patisserie next door needs to be just that bit better. (I have to say, the viennoiseries served in the hotel in Laval were genuinely some of the best I've ever tasted, even in France).
Crumble for dinner... great plan! Actually, a souvoury crumble can be rather pleasant too, but what's unhealthy about fruit and oats (which are always good in a crumble topping)?
Today is looking up after a promising message from what is likely to be our final jigsaw-piece contract for our company to ensure a steady income whilst other commission-only ones get up to speed. Feeling relieved!
HapPea Friday! xXx
