Morning, you 'orrible lot. Today has involved a late arrival to LA, a dismal reminder of what a shitolé LA is and then an upturning of that belief with a very pleasant walk north up the coast from Venice Beach to Santa Monica for brunch and then back the other way. Now on a flight to Vegas to be reminded why America does weird so well. As if we needed reminding (@DLax69 of course being the lauded exception).

Happy Monday, all. Go out and smash it. Whatever it is.

Nope, although I did have a large amount of Nando hot sauce on a chicken baguette yesterday plus some very weird tasting roast turkey crisps that were on offer in M&S…Oh an maybe the bottle of wine and all the chocolate I eat yesterday. Not a great day for my new year diet or dry January. That all went well.

In the late 80s when I went to Vegas Caesars Palace got robbed , This was at a time when they knew who they were robbing

on the 11pm news they were interviewing a representative of the hotel outside the hotel wearing dark suit and sunglasses when it was dark outside

the reporter said, "do you have anything to say to the robbers"

He just stared into the camera and said, "dese guys have been very stupid" and walked off

Holes in the desert being dug as he spoke no doubt :D

Morning, all...and damp it shall be. Tonight & tomorrow...clear, cold, and dark at the moment. Work from work...first meeting at 8a and last at 4p...hope all are warming up by now.

Morning - now able to enjoy my holiday, coffee at 10am beers started flowing 11am and it’s now wine with lunch - planing cocktails this afternoon and not wine later.

Weather could not be more kind and the hotel garden has unbeatable views from the sunbeds - having to keep in touch with work though, no real rest for the wicked.
