We moved boxes to Ireland that were packed when we moved into Silverstone 18 years before, we did unpack everything when we arrived here but some of the stuff in those boxes went back into different boxes and are in the loft here :)

Morning, all. Just saw that 10 January...twenty-five years ago...was the debut of The Sopranos. For your binge-watching pleasure, and/or insight into my psychology. Got the looms done; have to work on the accoutrements and heddles, as well as finish two frames. Thankfully only day two of the three-day weekend...why aren't four-day work weeks the norm? Also smoking a pork butt, and will crisp up some brussels sprouts later...
The Sopranos redefined TV. And HBO, for that matter. Still one of the best programmes of all time.

Smoking a pork butt... there is so much imagery in those small words.

Anyway, morning, all. Last night I slept for ten and a half hours. Which was nice. Kind of on the drag with work now, so need to speed up. Have a good Monday (Monday?), all.

Morning! Third day of a three day weekend, and zero motivation to return to work tomorrow. I remember when that wasn't the case. Oh well.

Joining the service taught me I didn't need more than I could stuff in a seabag. Getting divorced multiple times ensured that I wouldn't. Feel free to follow my path to not being weighed down by your possessions! Hope audits go seamlessly; security gets upgraded swiftly; and sleep returns sweetly...

Morning, all...rain ahead of really chuffing cold here. Low tonight of 14F forecast. Very rare, thankfully...but this air mass is settling in til Sunday, it seems...so a good time keeping waterers flowing ahead. Back to work today; theoretically dinner plans/date night but who can ever be certain?

Bad start to the day as the trains were messed up (they blame the weather), so my journey was delayed / took longer and so no missed meeting #1 of the day.
It’s is flipping cold, but no snow.
Take care if you have the white stuff or Pzero’s :p

Morning Dublin again today but a nice post Christmas lunch.

A bit of a scare yesterday though, my eyes suddenly, and I mean during lunch, went strange. I got blurred vision at all distances in both eyes. In the morning all fine glasses for close up computer work and no glasses for any other vision but after lunch everything was blurred at all distances. Various-focal glasses helped the distance stuff enough to get home still not right. Over the next few hours all seemed gradually to return to normal and today all seems fine so a bit strange. Booked into opticians tomorrow just in case.
