Morning! First task today was to try and get at least part of the fence back to vertical pending the arrival of a trained professional to do it in a slightly more permanent way.

And then back to the work thing that pays money. Onwards!

Morning. Yeah, I know. Woke at 3a to violent retching. Sadly, it was me...been home under covers all day with low grade fever. Congrats on shifting the officer of the deck to the pilothouse, Phil. Hope all else are well.

Morning everyone and a balmy 8° at the moment.
A day of running Ms French's Aunt around Brittany to sort stuff with the two properties she's bought can't work out why she wants to do it rather than buy me a Maserati but hey ho it's a change from working on the house.
Have a Good day all.

I hope you make it. Brother Eb has had his flight back to Bristol from somwhere snowy cancelled due to the storm.

Landing on Sunday afternoon was slightly rough with strong crosswinds, but OK. But later flights diverted to Edinburgh.

But unfortunately I picked up the flu or something, and have been in bed for the past 36 hours. Sunday morning I had a bit of a cough. By the time I got off the plane I could barely stand. Suitcase still in the car as I can't lift it!

Sorry to hear that. fella. Well, I didn't actually hear it. I guess you weren't retching quite loudly enough. Anyway, keep it down unless it wants to come up and get better soon.

Morning, all. Away to Prague today via a lunch meeting in in Soho. Yesterday was a festival of fuckery and nonsense, so I hope today will be a bit less frantic. I may even get some work done instead of bouncing around like a pinball on speed.

Hello everyone!
We'll shortly be flying home from Iceland after a great anniversary trip away.
We saw newly formed icebergs, watched people playing with lava, saw and climbed around epic waterfalls, geysers and a crater, and went snorkeling between America and Europe in 2 degrees water. We drove in crazy storms, got stuck in our mountain pass hotel as an almost hurricane force blizzard shut the road through. Its finally just above zero outside, but has mostly been between -6 and -15.
HapPea Tuesday! xXx

Morning all and on the upswing but still laying low. Fever was above 102 at one point but seems to have broken for good. Gets me out of a board meeting, at least...
