I'm must be doing something wrong....my ex is still hanging around...go figure...

Anyhoo, good morning everyone, early shift and my spring like mood is still going strong. I think it's the tea...

Great choice Martin , happy days , its out already here in Suffolk hopefully to hang around long enough for a nice drive later and a lazy pub lunch somewhere near a river to do a bit of people watching , Im sorely missing my early mornings seeing the sun come up over the river Nile

Morning all
Am a bit worse for wear after a night out in London to see John Bishop at the Palladium follow by a Belgian beer bar…….. plans for today include coffee first thing and then a bit of car washing. Out for a drive in the Strad later….. and will visit my grandson before friend and family dinner later.
Make the most of the weather everyone

People are funny when it comes to "stuff." I have quite literally never inherited a thing, and would not have known what to do if I had. But I have seen families torn apart over something as dumb as a lamp (really!)...hate that you are dealing with all this, my friend.

Hey, it's all good. They 'gave' me Mrs C who is *without doubt* the best thing for me ever. I sincerely doubt that I would still be alive if not for her.

Morning, all. Couple more hours in the house later. We found a whole pile of old newspapers in a Georgian chest yesterday, which is going to the church. WTAF? we thought. Then we started checking the dates. Mrs C's birth, Mrs C getting certificates. And so it goes on. As well as more contemporary news like 9/11
Sun is shining. Hope all are well!

C

Hello everyone, from a sunny Beaumaris.
It's lovely to be back on Anglesey, even if only for one night and non ideal reasons.
My uncle is probably on his death bed, so up with my brother to say farewell.
If time will permit for the way home, it may involve a nostalgic blast on the A5 through Snowdonia.
HapPea Sunday! xXx

Morning

Run club then last push to sort MIL's house before the professionals come in on Monday. There's a loft!

Have a good one, all

C
Sorry to hear this Chris, we had to of the same last year after my mother in law passed and my father in law moved into assisted living.

Mrs Scaf found it very hard.

but both myself and Mrs C have pretty much vowed that we're not going to leave the same issue for someone else.
My mum made the same vow - but her house took weeks of tidying (although I confess the nappies from my babyhood that she transfered from house to house but thought too precious to use - I took them, but use them they are so absorbent)

For years nothing could beat a good set of Terry's nappies washed in Lenor for cleaning cars , now like many on here im probably a sucker for the multi coloured luminescent fibre cloths that adorn every motor spares shop /B&Q/B&M/Range etc etc ,I cant help but to buy another packet every time i pass them lol , but I have a few prized chamois that get an occasional use if there is a car show on somewhere near , Cant wait for Helmingham and Glemham this year , my two closest ones

Costco have a bundle of 50 towling cloths for £11 atm, perfect for car detailing as microwipes can struggle with quality wax etc.

Getting there, just some trims to come back to do and putting the gutters back on.
Looking good Newton , I used the all in one rubber sheet on mine , both systems are good which proves more than one way to skin a cat , but all in all looks like you had a good days graft , well done , on the flip side my over engineered Bentley decide to have tantrums today and thought it would play battery games . Unfortunately some stupid idiot parked it in front of the garage so I was unable to get the Gransport out lol, so tomorrow morning i will play some of my own games with a battery charger once Ive discovered how to get into the boot successfully to access the two batteries which are only 12 months old ........grrr failing that I know a very very nice man from the AA who will sort my problems FOC , which is why i pay them £34 a month for both cars .........lets hope tomorrows posting is a bit more full of positive news:as001 (2):
