The good morning thread

Hello you lot!
That was a good weekend. Ian, sounds like a good way to remember Ryan with all those motors! MLC, Ira and I also discovered that NASA exists to guard the giant Ice-Wall in Antarctica so that we don't go there and fall off the edge of the world - which is flat.
I received a text from Lloyds where I have a bank account I hardly use warning me I'm close to using an expensive overdraft. Turns out it was triggered by 18p being paid in as credit card cashback from them!
HapPea Monday!

Morning all. A few things are afoot this week, so it should be an interesting one.

But pretty much more of the same.

Morning,

Another day in the office, coldest for a while and the heating has broken.

Had to scrape the ice off the Spider this morning but decided against dropping the roof. Last time I did that in this weather I cracked the plastic rear screen. May have to drive home topless though.

Have a great day all

Good Morning all a first for me this early but been up since 4am here in Paris after arriving cream crackered.
Things to do locally with Ms French which will delay my first automotive purchase but she wants to show me her City.
Take care all.

Morning. Work, then curry with the boys tonight.

Fairly dull day at work. MOT the Strad tomorrow then I might put her back on the road for November....I miss her.

Morning all, back to the madness - a number of issues over the BH weekend will need investigating and resolving, time to find out how strong the new IT Director is

Hello everyone!
I knocked on someone's car window to ask her to move forward instead of parking over a dedicated cycle path (not along the road). She never did move as she couldn't understand she was a problem, but the amusing bit was asking me why I knocked on her window as "what if you broke it?" Yes, likely with just my hand and no tool on laminated car glass!
Pint with the big boss later.
HapPea Tuesday!

Phil, enjoy Paris, mate. When does the house-hunting in Laval start?

Good luck with the MoT, Matt. I've been thinking I should take mine off the road but, annoyingly, the service is due in December so it'll need to be driven then. I'll keep it running until after that, I think, and then store until spring. Mrs Crud suggested selling it and buying a new one when a stoopid car would start getting used again, but I can't see that being financially sensible unless the stoopid car market takes an even bigger kick in the ar5e. Yesterday's budget suggests a degree of economic confidence which might just wake the economy up again and get money flowing and car prices rising. So I shall reject her good idea on the basis of it bot being very good.

Anyway, morning, all. It's grey and wet out east this morning. I'm working at home but struggling to stop get started.

PS, Stevie, were you wearing your Ronald McDonald outfit? I can imagine that could have started the poor innocent lady!
