Same here, I’m all jobbed out,
Elderly dear next door but one asked if I could cut her lawn, I have done but in the process of getting her mower out she came right up to me...I was backing up all the time until she realised....seems she’s a bit forgetful...
So, sat in the sun, going to be a fake bbq for us as my gas ran out yesterday...
Stay safe.......and sane...
Yeah I know. But it takes no planning or faf on.With gas it was always a fake BBQ
And it seems I must be doing something right as the lady of the manor just prescribed me a beer. Happy days. Says I can have a sit down and rest.Yeah I know. But it takes no planning or faf on.
Ha ha, yes, morning. WFH today at my desk doing graphix'y stuff, well, more admin, booooooring!Morning all. Groundhog day.
The starling repellent gel
Morning, world.
Yesterday was, I think, productive. The starling repellent gel appears to be working but they're crafty buggers so only time will tell. Once was bouncing around on the roof near to the usual nesting spot but was avoiding going on. On the other side of the house, I've fitted some more of the gel packs above the guttering where the rooks like to perch and crarp. Rooks are even smarter than starlings, so I'll be interested to see if this makes a scrap of difference. I also did some more waxing of the Vantage's delicious flanks.
Today, work. Stay well, everyone, and if you're not well then get better.
Cheeks hurt after first cycle into the woods yesterday, forgot to put my padded pants on, silly mistake.

Weirdly round my way the farmers shoot the rooks and then hang them on the field gates....bit like moles. Might be some kind of local witchcraft s--t! But it works.Morning, all. Yesterday I started my military campaign against the starlings. I also waxed the Vantage’s delicious back end (an intimate process, I’ll admit), cleaned the barbie ready to incinerate some innocent dead animals and (hopefully) sealed the base of the shower adequately well that the water stops seaping out.
Today I take on the rooks, do a bit more waxing and cremate some sausages.
Early summer weekends. Wonderful!
