Hopefully just a gassing up! Is that going to Bentley? On my Conti someone mistakenly used leak detection fluid in the AC. Apparently that's a serious mistake. It was not a cheap fix!

No, needs a new condenser. :(

Wonder why leak detector is an issue? Oh well I trust Danny et al so sure it'll be fine!

I was told that the design and routing of the system meant that it was impossible to drain fluids from the system. Bentley quoted £9k to empty (at Crewe as the dashboard had to come out - through the windscreen??) if vacuum drying didn't work. Luckily after 3 rounds of drying and purging it dried out sufficiently... Worrying time!

He likes German engineering and Boxer engines in particular; get over it!

Consider it done. However, if he really wants to buy a characterless boxer-engined car, tell him to buy a Subaru Impreza. That way he won’t be regarded as a complete tw*t. :D

In terms of the tw@ scale, I would have put the scooby higher than the boxter. Especially if it has a 'hoog zorst'.

Good afternoon all,

I replaced mine myself. A fair amount of labour involved, but not a technically difficult job. While the front is coming off the car get Danny to check the condition of your radiator (they rot and swell at the bottom(!), power steering pipes which corrode due to their location (inner wing mud trap) and have the sidelight bulbs changed to LED (very cheap, but get the correct type) as thay make a world of difference to how the car looks.

Cheers Mark! Might be a bit late, I think it's nearly done!

Morning all, poorly puppy yesterday but he seems fine today, must be something he ate.

In amongst work tasks today I need to plan collection of the SZ from the paint shop, delivery to A4Alfa for MOT and checkover and then arrange trip to the UK to collect.

Morning all. Office and then an early finish to pick Joseph up after nursery as Alex has a meeting with the hospital about her mum, who is still in there.
Must be coming up to 4 months now!
