Not to sound like a total tosser but in a church they should be different sex ( not that it has anything to do with my religious standing but if you are into that sort of thing then gay marrage is not done,) under Law I don't really give a dam. So all in all I don't really care lol

When I was going through advanced flying training in the Air Force I once flew with a guy called Geoff McCracken whose nickname was Phil. The auth sheet read; Dover / McCracken. Put in our nicknames and it all becomes a bit of a classic gag, but no one noticed! I still have the entry in my logbook, fnaar, fnaar.

I dont think the church , from their track record, is too bothered about same sex sex. ( especialy in church premises ) but they do seem to have got a head of steam up about same sex marriage.

If the church does not want to marry them, let them go elsewhere? It's not like church is the only place, it's anywhere with a licence these days. The governments seem to be literally bending over for this minority and others, it's time the majority had a say and was listened to.

I'm upset that in order to attain certain rights for myself and my girlfriend, I have to enter into what is effectively a religious contract whether it's carried out in a church or otherwise.

As far as I know and correct me if I'm wrong, a Civil, or Legal marriage in any licensed venue, performed by a licensed person, does not get in to the religous side, just the legal aspects. Google would know about it of course, being in cahoots with the CIA on certain things like "earth", they would probably film it from space and put it on you tube as an anonymous doner??

yes your right rob, i had to do both, a legal one (through councils) and a church one although we did it at the same time in church......
