By 456 standards, that drivers window is fitting quite well!
I can tell you I spent several hours inside the doors to get the windows right.
I know when new it was a big problem with wind noise and water ingress and some cars went back to the factory.

Whats the problem with the windows?
They didn’t fit. They would for a few weeks, but then with the automatic up/down on entry/exit, they would work loose. They were better on the later Modifacto cars.
The other big problem when new were the leaky rear shocks - forever being replaced under warranty.
Mine suffered from these, just like all the others. Not such a big deal now, as you are buying a 25 years old car. But I bought mine when it was about 3 years old and still cost 6 figures (so quite a lot back then), when these issues were less acceptable.

They didn’t learn then, apparently windows were shocking on Daytonas too.

Still fancy one.

Its been long enough since I owned mine that I’ve now got rose tinted glasses and think “I wish I still had that”. Where as the reality is, in the words of the Ms “is that the sh!t one”.
My thoughts exactly! Mine had 3 new engines in one year. As useful as a chocolate tea pot.

3 engines in 26k miles on mine!
Early speed 6’s unfortunately weren’t great and many were rebuilt / replaced.

As much as I wanted a Tuscan I opted for the Cerbera and absolutely loved them. Fortunately the AJP engine was a lot more robust……

I really hope that a warranty covered those engines chaps ?
Yep, all three covered thankfully. As much as I loved that car having followed its build in person, I just couldn’t drive it anywhere without a problem. I gave up my run with TVR after that. Ironically it was a 400SE that proved the most reliable, my Griffith 500 suffered an oil starvation problem on the autobahn at high speeds following a friend in a 355.. oh he laughed!

I loved the big Wedge!

There was a bloke near me who had the very rare 450. Lovely thing, sounded brutal. But also looked like it would fold in half every time he put his foot down!
