Towing eye/hook

Guys, oh and gals (there must be a few gals on here surely?!?),

Unfortunately the towing eye/hook for my QP5 has gone walkabout. It came as part of the 'emergency tool kit' box in the boot.

Made a few calls but no one seems to be able to supply just the towing eye/hook itself - they can only supply the kit (which of course is a bit extortionate).

Anyone know if the towing eye is a generic item? Perhaps Alfa's use the same item? Any help appreciated.

I bought my towing eye on its own direct from Maranello in Egham, cost me about £10 and they delivered it next day to my door. Give them a call.

I suspect they are pretty much all the same, I know my Alfa and GS one was the same, so go to the scrappy armed with a fiver?

Thanks Danny. Spot on Mate. Bizarrely I had already called ES and they couldn't find it (or at least the person I spoke to couldn't!). Having rang them again and quoted the part number (60609775) it seems they do supply it but don't have any in stock at the moment. Should locate one easily now I have the part number. I think even a tight old git like me can part with 15 quid and save a trip to the scrappie!
