Hi All, Battery went flat at the tint shop, thats now recovered/recharged and the million warnings are all gone now following a negative lead / battery reset.....bar TPMS.
Would like some advice on whats achievable on the drive and some advice on diagnostic tools a local garage might be able to help with (Foxwell etc) before reverting to a specialist.
A lot of the (rear) interior will have been dismantled for the tint fitting, im assuming rear seats, shelf etc to get the blind / rear brake light out the way for the window tinting ,so....
To recap its a 2008 pre-facelift sport GT ZF.
The Control module is in under the carpet in the front , correct ? No reason for that to have been budged but I've read a disconnect on the control unit plus another battery reset might be worth doing.
Where are the TPMS aerials located, is there one in the rear of the car on the inside that may have been disconnected I should check? I looked at the Eurospares diagram which lists x2 on the car? Assuming Front / Rear.
Other than holding the button to trigger a re-calibration , which I have done, on a long journey (multiple times, no joy) - is the 'Re-learn' procedure something a Foxwell can invoke?
Would one flat TPMS sensor cause the entire monitoring to be unavailable?
Re-calibration errors in about 30 seconds, possibly quicker , which is making me think a comms issue rather than a wheel sensor but I don't have the experience to discount the sensors.
Tints look great so at the moment I haven't burnt enough time / money fixing this to make them not worthwhile! We will see if that continues
TIA
Al
