Pat you will be pleased to know my mum already donates to Starlight, has donated for quite a few years now.

What annoys me about people who win the lotto and dont spend any money, i.e, still live in the same house, dont buy a flash car they buy something boring and therefore dont have a clue what to do with the money then why the heck dont theh donate it? I know i would, some people genuinely need the funds who are very unfortunate in life. It really riles me to be honest, they come accross ungreatful when they have a load of money from a £2 lotto ticket and dont know what to do. If they dont know what to do with the money then dont play the lotto. Rant over.

I used to host nights where whatever i took for drinks ill donate to charities local to us....leukaemia & thallasimia esp.
I did have DD every month of £15 to cancer research.....i have stopped it since i been out of work but the minute i get into something soon will start it up again....

As a parent this went through my mind when I read it Adam.....You can never imagine what the parents are going through..........These stories really hit hard........
