Trickle charge QP question

Hi

I'm looking at getting a QP V in the next month. Weekender/good weather car only so will be on a trickle charger. I know the 4200 can be charged using the 12V in the boot (but not the cabin), is the QP the same ?

Also am I correct that the "magic number" for variator redesign is 123399 ?

Cheers

No worries. Uness there's a difference to the QP engines. There is another number floating around as well :( That one is on *a* service bulletin

Sorry, no idea about the socket but I'd *assume* it's permanently powered and therefore suitable for a tender
